Wild Rock Golf Course

Wild Rock Golf Course is an absolutely perfect combination of challenge and play ability. The slope from the quartzite tees is 141, and it is all of that. Better yet, there are 5 tee boxes to choose from, so, you can also enjoy this course from the Sand Stone tees at a slope of 124. I have played many courses with lower slopes that wind up being much more difficult for my game. The most challenging aspect of Wild Rock is the tee shot. Quite often you have to carry a ravine to make it to the fairway, however, once you get to the fairway, they are generously wide and in impeccable condition. The combination of the two sets the stage for the most enjoyable round of golf you may ever play. Give yourself plenty of time due to the long distances between holes. Carts are equipped with large screen GPS units that will even show the location of other nearby carts. We will have our complete review in the coming months.
Wild Rock Hole #2
After starting with a tough par 5, hole #2 offers offers a great scoring opportunity IF you can carry the ravine. With an almost 90 degree dogleg right, a modest tee shot leaves you a short pitch to the green.
